WOW....Hot day today!! I finished the half marathon in 1:47:48...tried for my PR under 1:45 but it was way way hot. Average pace was 8:14 per mile and it ended up being my 2nd best half marathon time. Finished in 1683rd place out of about 10,000 people. So, I was in the top 17%. This would translate into a 3:46:00 marathon. Lots of work to still do to make sure I can beat the 3:50:22. Came home and took a nice 20 minute ice bath. It's really the best recovery practice in the world...however, it's freakin cold.
With a margarita in hand, I am relaxing on my couch.
